“The name is the same, but it’s not the person I expected to see,” he said in the caption.

...and yes, if you’re wondering, this Erra Fazira is not the famous actress and singer that we all know, but a namesake.

Dr. Zulkifli added: “Congratulations Puan Erra Fazira and husband on your solemnisation ceremony earlier. I was very surprised because I thought she was the actress from the movie, Sembilu.

“The wedding was held at the JAWI office and took less than 20 minutes, while still following the SOPs set by the government. I pray for the happy couple and may their marriage be blessed by God,” added Dr. Zulkifli.

According to The Star, wedding ceremonies are allowed during the CMCO period as long as attendees adhere to the SOPs set by the government, in line with the conditional movement control order regulations.

Meanwhile, the Sembilu actress, Erra Fazira told Astro Gempak that she received quite a number of phone calls and text messages, “A lot of my contacts were congratulating me on the wedding, as a joke of course!”

“Dr. Zulkifli is just trying to have a little bit of fun with me. He’s actually very good at making jokes and entertaining the people around him. But, congratulations Erra Fazira, from Erra Fazira!” she added.

We won’t be hearing any wedding bells from Erra Fazira any time soon, but we’re so happy for the other Erra Fazira! Congratulations!
