We all remember the Abang Polis who melted netizen’s hearts when a video of him saving a small doggo that was trapped in a monsoon drain went viral and won praises from social media users.
The brave policeman, known as Corporal Mohd Azad Azady Mohd Tarmizee has received a letter of commendation from Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin.
According to the Malay Mail, the letter was handed over by Muhammad Syahir Hasan, who is Sultan Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah’s assistant private secretary at a ceremony held at the Shah Alam district police, where Mohd Azad is attached with its mobile patrol vehicle unit.
The video posted by Ezam Bin Ramli of Mohd Azad saving the helpless doggo in the drain gained over 495 thousand views since it was posted two weeks ago.
