PJ Policeman Wins Hearts On Social Media After Helping An Elderly Woman Pay Her Utility Bills

We all know how amazing and hardworking our frontliners are at handling this pandemic, from taking care of those who are sick and making sure that Malaysians are safe in their homes.

Not only that, our frontliners would go above and beyond their call of duty to help others, and even take on other responsibilities without expecting anything back.

One officer from IPD Petaling Jaya, Corporal Muhammad Azizi Matshah, was at Pasar Besar Jalan Othman to inspect the enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) there with his superior, District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal when he was approached by an elderly aunty who asked for help to pay her bills, as reported by Malay Mail.

...and without hesitation, with permission from his superior (of course!), Azizi went to the nearby post office to pay the aunty’s bills.

The story was shared on the Polis Daerah Petaling Jaya Facebook page, which the elderly aunty thanked Azizi by saying, “Sayang, terima kasih sayang,” and melted all of our hearts!

The post has since gone viral and netizens flooded the post with positive comments and praises for Azizi for going out of his way to help the elderly aunty.

Look out for your friends and family members, or even your neighbours because times are hard, especially for those who are affected by the EMCO. The smallest act of kindness can actually make someone’s day!

Take care, and be safe.
