Taking to his Facebook page, Uncle Kentang said that the doctor has advised him to be away from his phone for at least thirty days to help improve his mental health.
“The doctor told me that if I keep on receiving phone calls, I could end up with mental health issues.
“One day, I get at least 100 incoming phone calls from those who are having problems. That does not include the WhatsApp messages that I get as well,” he explained.
He also shared that there are people who reached out to him because they were abused, or they were abandoned by their spouse.
He also received calls from people who need his help financially for paying water bills, electricity bills and for their children’s education.
“The doctor has told me to turn off my phone for thirty days. However, I will only accept emergency calls, for any accident cases. I will come back to serve, but for now, I need rest,” he said.
