Local children’s animation series, Omar & Hana recently managed to garner international recognition and over 5 million subscribers for its YouTube channel!
French footballer, Paul Pogba, who also plays for Manchester United, caught Malaysian netizens’ attention after he posted a photo of him watching Omar & Hana on his Instagram account!

In the photo, he can be seen holding a remote control while standing in front of his television and watching the animated series, Omar & Hana.
His caption read: “Movie session with the family at home.”
The post has since garnered over 800,000 likes at the time of writing.
Malaysians in the comment section expressed their excitement when they saw the world famous footballer watching the local animated series.
Omar & Hana is the number 1 Islamic children’s animation series in Malaysia that uses a contemporary approach to educate children, including adults, about Islam!
The animated series is produced by local animation company, Digital Durian based in Cyberjaya, Selangor.
The series also has catchy and fun songs for children that have been viewed in over 50 countries around the world by 3.2 billion people!
...and it all started in Malaysia! We’re so proud!
