You know what the Malays always say: “Rezeki tak pernah salah alamat!” which means what is meant to be yours, will be.
Who would have thought that this young man’s video of a durian that fell onto his car and broke his rear window would go viral on social media!

The video even caught the attention of the Human Resources Minister, Datuk Seri M. Saravanan, who bought the RM500 durian to help him with the cost to fix his car.
A trader, Wan Mahussin, recently went viral after posting a video of the RM500 durian and even received an offer to be an “influencer” for durians.
“All praise to God. If it’s meant to be yours, it will be. Though my car was damaged by the durian, God replaced it with something even better. YB Datuk Seri Saravanan took notice of my video and helped me. Now I’ve been offered to be an influencer for Durian Mochi,” he said.

Last week, his video showing everyone how the durian fell onto his car went viral on TikTok.
He then said in the video that he would be selling the durian for RM500 as it did not fall on the ground but onto his car instead, and damaged his car’s rear window.
He explained that the money will be used to fix his car.
Mahussin said that he was surprised when he got a call from an unknown number, and that someone wanted to buy the durian, but unfortunately he had already eaten it.

When asked where he’s from, the caller simply said that he was from the government and asked for his account number to help cover the cost for his car.
“I was very surprised. When I checked his contact details, apparently it was YB Datuk Seri M. Saravanan, the Human Resources Minister. He asked for my account number because he wanted to cover the cost for me to fix my car,” he said.
What a great story! We’re glad that everything worked out well for him.
