Recently one Malaysian man decided to get creative and created a deck that looks like a business pitch. And yes, you guessed it, he was promoting himself and even made a pretend company naming it Pain & Co.
In the tweet, he said: “I had a massive explosion of chaotic energy and decided to make these.”
In the first slide, he presented what parents would expect from us and compared it to what the younger generations what. Which is very relatable.
Not only are Asian parents best at comparing their children’s achievements with others, they are also expected to have qualified partners as well.
In his slide he also stated that 80% of young adults are questioned by elders about having a partner during CNY, and a graph showing when the question peaks, especially for those who are between 26 to 30 years old.
He also did not forget to mention the “bonus points” of renting him as a boyfriend: washboard abs, nice hands, Aunty killer (skills that can win over your Aunty), multilingual and knows his horoscopes.
Not only that but you can also personalize his personality to bring back home to your family. Just note that Ah Beng will cost you a bit extra because he was discontinued back in 2011.
Wah, sounds like the perfect boyfriend to bring home to your parents, huh?
