Malaysian Dressed As “Pontianak” Receives COVID-19 Vaccine

A man recently decided to dress up as a ghost or “pontianak”, a spirit of a woman who died during childbirth, at a vaccination centre in Malaysia.

The 20-second video shared on Facebook has since garnered over 20,000 shares and over 1,000 likes at the time of writing.

In the video, the “pontianak” is seen walking confidently into a mostly empty vaccination centre, while the person recording can be heard saying “I’m scared” repeatedly as the pontianak heads over to one of the counters.

The ghost then lets out a high pitched laugh as he takes a seat, waiting to be registered for the vaccine.

People in the background can also be heard laughing and clapping, probably entertained by the ghost while they wait for their turn to be registered for the vaccine.

The man can be seen dressed in a blood-stained gown, long black hair and red contact lenses. He looks scary!

See? Even ghosts take vaccines, what’s your excuse? So let’s register for the vaccine now!
