Malaysians are very well-known for deep frying fruits! If you haven’t tried pisang goreng or cempedak goreng, then what are you even doing here?!
Malaysian netizens recently came across a TikToker, Scott (@scottsreality) who is apparently well-known for deep-frying anything, and everything, including a huge stone and a whole chicken!

In one of his frying series, Scott tried deep frying a whole durian fruit without peeling its skin, which made many Malaysians very, very confused.
He even goes on to eat the fried durian afterwards!
The video gained over 16.4 million, 597 thousand likes and 16 thousand comments.
In another video, Scott even deep-fried a bunch of rambutans, without peeling the skin off either.
That particular video received over 14.9 million views, 649 thousand likes and 71 thousand comments!
Malaysian netizens took to the comment section to express their shock from watching the videos, while some simply said they enjoyed the video.
Quick tip for those who have no idea how to peel open a durian... It's really easy and all you need is a sharp knife!
Just dig into the durian with the knife and try cutting along the seams. Once a deep enough incision has been made, try prying the hull apart with your hands.
Repeat the same process along each seam until ALL sections of the fruit have been opened. To eat the durian, just take out the pods of fruit and enjoy!
