Since the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO), many have opted to just stay at home in an effort to curb the COVID-19 infections.

However, a group of irresponsible motorcyclists have started using the empty highways around the Klang Valley area as their race tracks!

Taking to Facebook, SJ Echo shared a video showing around 15 motorcycles caught on camera using the empty Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP) as a racing track at around 1:30 am on Sunday (May 16th).

Groups of motorcyclists have started racing along the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP) in the wee hours of the morning again after a long absence. The group was caught on camera by a Facebook reader at 130am this morning coming from the direction of Puchong and making a U-turn at the LDP stretch of USJ21 before racing back towards Puchong. There were more than 15 motorcyclists using the LDP as their race track.

The caption read: “A Facebook user caught these motorcyclists at 1:30 am coming from Puchong and making a U-turn at the LDP stretch of USJ21 before racing back towards Puchong.”

According to the comments section, these mat rempit activities also happened at KESAS highway from the toll area until the Shah Alam industrial exit.

Road users, please be careful if you’re driving along these highways at night! Drive safe.
