Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin A’-Mustafa Billah Shah who is well-known for his humility and jiwa rakyat, set aside protocol to have a solo meal at an eatery in Pekan.
According to BERNAMA, His Majesty was on his way to the Pahang Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MUIP) Asnaf Complex in Sungai Soi when he stopped by to enjoy some delicious roti naan at a local stall.

Social media users were thrilled by His Majesty’s modesty and casual demeanor, and how he took a break from the protocols and just enjoyed himself: “Touched to see a ruler who has the people at heart.”

We would love to someday meet him too, and maybe belanja him lunch for being such a caring ruler towards his rakyat.
