Uncle Kentang, whose real name is Kuan Chee Heng, has gone viral yet again, after helping an aunty in Kepong who was left to sleep at her flat’s corridor after being evicted.
In a Facebook post, Uncle Kentang shared that he received a call about a Chinese lady who was evicted from her rented room at Suria Magna Flat in Kepong and only has RM12 to her name.

“Locked out. We started out a hotline, and ironically the first call we got was about a Chinese lady who was evicted. She claimed that she tried to get help from people and politicians but to no avail. She slept for the past three days at the corridor with her belongings,” he said in the caption.
He added that she hadn’t bathed for the past three days.
“She looks very tired. We gave her some money and will bring her out to dinner. At her age, it is difficult to get a job, especially in this pandemic.”
