The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) are now hunting for a motorcyclist who was caught on a closed-circuit television (CCTV) groping a young girl in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.

According to Kosmo, the ACP Chief of Kelantan Criminal Investigations Department, Wan Khairuddin Wan Idris said that the 18-year-old victim lodged a police report at 11 am on the same day of the incident.
The incident, which happened on Thursday (March 25th) at 9:40 am at Lorong Limau Manis, Jalan Hamzah, saw a motorcyclist following a young girl walking alone to her workplace.

CCTV footage that was shared on Facebook by Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS showed the suspect riding on a motorcycle, wandering around a residential area, before he stopped to talk to the victim.
The girl, who seemed uncomfortable with the interaction, then walked away from him.
Later, the motorcyclist is seen pretending to go the opposite direction, but after making sure that the coast is clear, he then made a u-turn and went towards the girl again, this time groping her from behind before riding away.

Wan Kahiruddin said the man will be investigated under Section 354 of the penal code for assault and obscene acts.
