JPJ Officers In Terengganu Use Their Own Money To Give Food To The Homeless

This is amazing!

The Department of Road Transport (JPJ) in Terengganu took to their Facebook page to share how they help the homeless in their area during this difficult time...

And apparently, the officers used their own money to buy the food to give to the homeless!

Their caption read: “The Operations Unit, Team Bravo, has conducted an initiative to help the homeless at the MBKT Bus Terminal in Kuala Terengganu by contributing some food packs. This aims to help the homeless people here who need food.”

“A total of 10 people have received food donations. This, through the Gerobox Rezeki programme, which was previously launched by the Director of JPJ in the state, with the support and contributions from the JPJ staff members,” it said.

Apart from the homeless programme, the proceeds from Gerobox Rezeki also helps groups and families around Kuala Terengganu who need help with essential food items like rice, flour, cooking oil, milk and sugar.

They ended their post by urging Malaysians to empower their own community members by helping with what they can.
