The Malaysian government recently implemented an interstate-travelling (Rentas Negeri) schedule, whereby anyone who wishes to travel to a different state must apply for permission through the GerakMalaysia App following a fixed schedule according to the respective states. Do keep in mind that this is a one-way route as you are not allowed to return to your hometown after travelling out from it.
Below are the dates for the respective states for interstate-travelling:
7th May 2020
From Kuala Lumpur
8th May 2020
From Perak, Johor Bahru and Kelantan
9th May 2020
From Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Melaka and Pahang
10th May 2929
From Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Terengganu
Datuk Ismail Sabri also mentioned that all the information will be sent to the National Security Council of Malaysia (MKN) and the Malaysian Health Ministry (KKM) for further checking before making the final decision.
