Following your heart is not as easy as it sounds but sometimes, it’s all we need to stay happy.
Former corporate highflyer, Jady Ong finds solace in seeing her rescues find a good home. The 41 year-old Penangite said that her rescue journey started in 2018 soon after she left the corporate world.

What first started as a hobby whenever she got a break eventually turned out to be the best thing that happened to Jady.
The rescuer initially wanted to take a break from work for three months and decided to give two dogs a home. She then started feeding strays in her housing area and the rest is history.
Realising the fact that rescuing strays also meant spending money on their neutering process and other expenses, she started baking to raise funds from the public.
Jady added that the corporate world gave her a big pay cheque but what she does now takes up a bigger space in her heart, although not in her bank account.
Well, sometimes our happiness is what matters most. All the best, Jady Ong!
