According to the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department, the father, and his nine-year-old son were traveling back to their home at Jalan Chow Kit 4, KL after celebrating Hari Raya at their kampung in Perak.
At around 4 pm on Saturday (May 7th), police patrolling the North-South Expressway (PLUS) stopped them after they realized that the boy was sitting in a dangerous position on the motorcycle.
“A motorcyclist carrying a young boy wrapped onto his body with a cloth was spotted by Corporal Mohamad Fitdros Saman and Corporal Nazruddin Syazwan Mat Nanyan.
“When they took a closer look at the situation, they pulled the man over and asked what they could do to help. They found that the man was carrying his nine-year-old son,” shared Jabatan Siasatan Dan Penguatkuasaan Trafik PDRM on their official Facebook page.
The patrol officers also advised the father that what he is doing is very dangerous to both of their safety.
