Over the past few days there’s been a new viral message making the rounds, apparently showing a ‘trick’ to help you get an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine.

It involves making use of the vaccine helpdesk function on the MySejahtera app.
The message claims that if you’ve yet to receive an appointment, all you need to do is send in a request/complaint via the helpdesk and you will ‘magically’ get your appointment confirmation hours later.
The message has caught the attention of the Health Ministry, who quickly confirmed that it is NOT TRUE!
It says vaccination appointments are sent out automatically, in stages…and there’s nothing we can do to speed up the process.
The Ministry is also urging people not to abuse the helpdesk function on MySejahtera, as this will slow down the authorities’ response to legitimate queries.
So, sorry guys…if you’ve yet to get your appointment, you’ll just have to wait for your turn.
And also remember not to share unverified information. If you need any info on COVID-19 or the vaccination program, make sure you go to the Health Ministry and JKJAV’s official social media channels.
