However, one furry friend decided to steal the spotlight instead!
A video by Astro AWANI that was shared by Twitter user, @mamuvies caught everyone’s attention, including the police officer that was guarding the entrance of Istana Negara, as heads of political parties arrived for their scheduled audience with the King.
Of course, one special guest decided to show up as well, greeting the police officers and waiting at the side of the road for some pats on the head.
One police officer who couldn’t seem to resist its cuteness, started scratching the cat on its chin and petting it, which caught netizens’ attention!
The cat even walked in between the officer's legs wanting more pats which he obliged to its need for more attention.
The tweet has garnered over 42 thousand views at the time of writing!
