Posting about getting vaccinated on social media is a win-win situation, as it is a way of encouraging other people to get themselves vaccinated as well.
However, you should never post your COVID-19 vaccination certificate generated on the MySejahtera app after your vaccination on social media!

Recently, there have been photos of a company actually selling fake COVID-19 vaccination certificates, and even changed the details on the digital certificate. They will even print it out for you for as low as RM15!
Former Deputy Minister of Health 1, Datuk Dr. Noor Azmi Ghazali said that the Ministry of Health (MOH) and PDRM will conduct an investigation into the sale of fake digital COVID-19 vaccine certificates online, including on e-commerce platforms.
The selling of fake certificates came after former Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced the SOP relaxation for individuals who have completed both jabs of their vaccine.
Public Health Malaysia even took to their Twitter to share how you can check the authenticity of a digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
Please be careful when sharing things online. The digital certificate contains your personal information like your full name, your IC number and the name and batch number of the vaccine you received.
The certificate is also important to curb the spread of COVID-19!
So be mindful, and don’t let these irresponsible people use your personal information for their own personal gain!
