Check Your Kitchen Now, Your Old Dishes Could Be Worth A Fortune!

It all makes sense now, to why our mom or grandmother always seemed to have that special dish set and cooking-ware that was in the almari, and rarely used.

They’re actually worth a fortune!

The 1970s-style CorningWare porcelain cooking-ware has recently made a comeback and collectors are on the hunt for rare designs and are willing to pay a lot of ka-ching!

According to glass expert, Dean Six, one piece of the CorningWare in a pattern that is rare and not widely produced can get up to $US7,000 (RM28,451) a piece!

The Cornflower range with a blue floral design is the most common pattern but still worth a lot of money!

Depending on the design, rarer patterns like Wildflower – made from 1977 to 1984 and Floral Bouquet made from 1971 to 1975 can go up to $US10,000 (RM40,645) online, and the prices are still going up!

The CorningWare dishes were extremely popular in the 1950s and were even popular as wedding gifts in the 1970s and the 1980s.

Complete sets are worth more than single items, so if you have one sitting around the house collecting dust, you could actually make a lot of money from it!

Ask your mom, she might just cave in and you can split the profit!
