CCTV footage of an accident that happened at Jalan Pahang recently has been circulating on social media over the weekend.
In an 8-second video shared by Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS on Facebook on Sunday (February 21st) at 11 am shows a red taxi speeding along the edge of the left lane on Jalan Pahang entering the middle lane, and hitting a motorcycle rider who was riding on the middle lane.

The rider then lost control of his motorcycle and fell, before a car that was driving behind him immediately breaks, while the taxi speeds away out of the camera frame.
The incident allegedly happened at 10:30 am on December 23rd last year, and it appears to be a case of hit-and-run.
The rider was killed in the accident and the next of kin are now seeking public assistance to help them find the taxi driver.
The Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS Facebook page also shared the taxi’s number plate.
