After Helping Flood Victims In Selangor, Abang Viva Is Now Helping Those In The East Coast

Abang Viva has returned, this time in a new pickup truck to assist flood victims in the East Coast!

Azwan Omar, or famously known as Abang Viva told BERNAMA that he arrived in Kampung Pengkalan Ajal, Terengganu on Monday morning (February 28th) to assist flood victims whose homes were badly damaged.

However this time, Azwan said he will be driving a brand new pickup truck that was provided to him by a generous individual.

The 30-year-old also expressed his delight that he is now able to help victims with his new vehicle, which can access areas where his Perodua Viva could not.

Azwan also made the decision to travel to the flood affected states after getting several requests from social media users to visit Kelantan, which had been severely impacted by the flood.

Four of his friends also offered to join him this time, and they even brought three pickup trucks and three boats with them for the rescue mission.

Azwan, or Abang Viva was recognised for courageous efforts during last year’s floods in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, when he drove all the way from Melaka to rescue flood victims in Selangor, in his Perodua Viva.

He also traveled to Pahang to assist the flood victims.

Azwan added that the attention had helped him during his rescue missions.

“I’m still a little hesitant, but I’m more motivated to help because it’s simpler for me to acquire information and support from the people here,” he said, adding that the victims he had saved would often greet him with screams and clapping.

Amazing work, Azwan! Keep it up!

Thank you for your time and effort to help Malaysians in need. You truly are a hero!
