UK Woman Sends Over 1,000 Text Messages To Her Ex-Boyfriend After They Broke Up

A woman from the UK allegedly tried to rekindle her relationship with her ex-boyfriend by sending him up to 150 text messages a day, which led him to file for a restraining order against her.

The 28-year-old woman was sentenced with an 18-month restriction against speaking to her ex-boyfriend, a 30-day mandatory rehabilitation program and 18-months of community service.

Her 30-year-old ex-boyfriend claimed that his ex allegedly harassed him by texting and calling him more than a thousand times since their breakup, despite making it clear that he did not want anything to do with her anymore.

He also claims that she continued trying to contact him to “rekindle their 21-months romance.”

According to Oddity Central, prosecutor Arron Smith said: “Between 15 February and 26 February, there was a steady barrage of text messages every day. There were hundreds of messages and missed calls.

“Though the messages were not abusive, it’s just that there were too many of them. In the messages, she was constantly expressing her love and grief over the breakup,” he said, adding that she also threatened to take her life.

The boyfriend has made it very clear that he did not want to date her again and was trying to start over and focus on himself. He has since cut off all communications with his ex-girlfriend.
