Police Arrests Seven Individuals For Allegedly Throwing Glass Bottle From High-Rise Building In KL

Police have arrested seven individuals, including three women, for allegedly throwing a glass bottle from a high-rise residential building onto a busy road in the city center.

According to Malay Mail, Dang Wangi district police chief, ACP Noor Dellhan Yahaya stated that the suspects, aged between 21 to 31, were arrested on 5 February to help with investigations. 

He also stated that one of the suspects tested positive for ketamine and is being investigated in accordance with Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act of 1952.

He also stated that two of the seven suspects have been remanded in custody for three days, until Tuesday, to assist in the investigation under Penal Code Sections 268 and 336, as well as Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955.

Noor Dellhan also urged anyone affected by the incident to file a police report at the nearest station.

In a video that went viral shows a man swinging an empty glass bottle before tossing it from a high-rise residential building's balcony onto a busy road below.

The incident is believed to have happened recently in Jalan Cendana, Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur.
