PLKN Returns After Seven Years with 150 Trainees Joining the Programme

The trainees, aged between 18 and 25, arrived at the camp at 7.30 am, with family members offering their support as they embarked on this new chapter. The registration process ran smoothly from 7 am to 11 am under cloudy skies.

This first phase of PLKN 3.0 will see participants undergo 45 days of training, which combines military exercises with statehood education. The programme is set to conclude on February 25.

The reintroduction of PLKN, which will be rolled out in stages, is designed to foster patriotism, unity, and a sense of identity among Malaysia's youth. In addition, it aims to equip them with the resilience needed to overcome life’s challenges through a blend of physical and mental training.
