Internet users have been sharing a video of a police officer who appears to be dozing off while on duty.
The police officer, who wears a traffic police uniform is seen in the video falling asleep while standing in the middle of the road. It is believed that the officer was supposed to be controlling traffic.

The man who recorded the video can be heard calling for the police officer to try and wake him up, which he failed.
The incident, believed to have happened last Friday at the Uplands Roundabout in Kuching, Sarawak.
After the video went viral, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) issued a statement on their Facebook page clarifying that they will monitor the officer’s health for further action.
“We would like to thank all the netizens who were concerned about our officer’s health,” they said.
The video has since garnered over 257,000 views on Facebook at the time of writing.
Netizens took to the comment section to express their concerns, “Be human and be kind. Stop your car and ask the officer if he’s okay.”
“He might be ill. Or he’s probably exhausted. There’s a lot of reasons why he would’ve ended up falling asleep while standing up. Please look into it,” one person commented.
