In conjunction with this year’s Aidilfitri, 5,000 petrol and diesel vouchers will be distributed to anak Pahang travelling back to their hometowns.
Pahang’s Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, said the initiative aims to ease the financial burden of those returning home to celebrate.

“Tonight, 1,000 recipients will receive their vouchers at a special event, while the remaining 4,000 will have theirs delivered directly by state leaders in their respective villages,” he said.
Each eligible recipient will receive a RM50 fuel voucher to assist with travel expenses.
The programme has received overwhelming support, with 21,671 applications submitted last year. This year, the Pahang Natives Secretariat recorded a surge in interest, with 52,411 applications received within just five days.
Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy also mentioned that the initiative helps the Secretariat better estimate the number of Pahang natives living outside the state and understand their needs, “Due to the positive response, we are continuing the programme this year with 5,000 recipients, the same as in 2024,” he added.
Selamat Hari Raya and please be safe on the road when you balik kampung!
