One woman was killed and four were injured following an accident involving 29 vehicles reported near Kampung Dalam Kemunting, earlier today (July 14th).
The vehicles involved in the 9.05am incident were two trailer lorries, 21 bicycles, a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), three cars and two motorcycles.
It is understood that one of the trailer lorries carrying iron rods overturned before crashing into several vehicles.
According to the Pasir Puteh Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) spokesman, the five victims included one woman who died, one child who suffered serious injuries, and three others with minor injuries.
Accident clearance works are currently underway.
