MySejahtera Introduces New Feature, Digital Blood Donor Card

The MySejahtera app isn’t as widely used now as it was when we needed to check-in at places, to keep track of COVID-19 close contacts… However, the government isn’t going to let it go to waste!

Just last month, Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin announced that registration for organ donation can be made on the MySejahtera app.

And now, the government has added another feature - a digital blood donor card!

This feature makes it easier for blood donors and the National Blood Centre (PDN) to track blood donation records in selected locations.

Before this, donors had to bring a booklet to record their blood donation sessions, but with the new feature, you would only need to bring your phone. Wah, it’s that simple!

For now, this feature will only work for blood donation at 22 blood collection centers across Malaysia that use the Blood Bank Information System (BBISV2), which means that when you donate blood at other locations, you’ll still need to bring your booklet.

If you want to know more about this new feature, you can visit the MySejahtera website!
