Starting next year, renewing your My50 monthly travel pass will be more convenient than ever, as commuters will soon have the option to do so via the Touch 'n Go eWallet.
The My50 Pass, which provides unlimited travel on Rapid KL's LRT, MRT, monorail, BRT, buses, and MRT feeder buses in the Klang Valley for just RM50 a month, is set to become more accessible.

Previously, renewals were only available at specific transit counters using a MyKad.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced the change, citing concerns over potential misplacement of MyKad during renewals. This digital upgrade will eliminate the need for physical MyKad usage, making the process both safer and more efficient.
He also revealed that future upgrades will allow commuters to choose between using a Touch 'n Go card or a smartphone-based QR code for their travel. "Once system integration is finalised, these options will make the My50 pass even more user-friendly," he explained.
In a separate initiative, Rapid KL has launched the MyTourist Pass, designed for visitors exploring Kuala Lumpur. This pass offers unlimited travel on Rapid KL’s network for one, two, or three consecutive days, catering to both local and international tourists.
