The Ministry of Education (MOE) has reassured Malaysians that it is well-prepared for potential floods in the country, particularly with the approaching monsoon season.

The Minister of MOE, Fadhlina Sidek, has announced that the ministry has finalized its flood preparedness plan, which includes the use of schools as flood relief centers. According to BERNAMA, Fadhlina emphasized that MOE maintains constant communication with the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) to collaboratively address the possibility of various disasters, including floods.
In her statement, the Education Minister stated, "We are always ready. The coordinating committee has discussed the matter, and the Flood Monitoring Centre is also well-prepared for the monsoon season."
With the monsoon season on the horizon, it is crucial for Malaysians to stay vigilant and keep a close eye on weather forecasts.
