A man jumped into a lake on Jalan Bukit Pasir to save three people after their car skidded and fell into the water.
Suzaini Mohd Sadali, a factory supervisor, said he was driving around the Tasik Merdeka area when he noticed the car in front of him skid and fall into the lake, which used to be a bauxite mine.

"I then stopped my car and saw two women, one next to the driver's seat and another in the rear seat clinging onto the car while crying.
Suzaini stated that he was able to get the male victim to the lake's edge before two other men assisted in saving the two women by pulling them to the bank.
"I am grateful that all of the victims were not drowned. This was a very worthwhile experience for me. I know how to swim, but I didn't expect this lake to be so deep, and the victims could have drowned if they hadn't been rescued in time,” he said as reported by the New Straits Times.
ACP Ismail Dollah, the head of the Batu Pahat District Police, said in a statement that information regarding the incident was received from the public at 1:30 pm.
According to early investigations, a man and two female friends were driving a car from Tongkang Pechah to Batu Pahat.
"At the scene of the incident, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to skid and plunge directly into the lake on the right side of the road. However, the three victims were able to get out before it sank due to the help of bystanders.”
Masa arwah adik meninggal dulu, dia jugalah ahli keluarga pertama yang sampai ditempat kejadian. Moga Abg Suzaini Mohd Sadali sentiasa dilindungi Allah. Sentiasa membantu keluarga bila memerlukan.
