The video shows the man sitting in his Perodua Kelisa and texting on his phone while being asked several times to move his car. Despite the woman's request, he ignored her and made a call to his friend.
Port Dickson district police chief, Supt Aidi Sham Mohamed, has confirmed that the man has been taken into custody for further investigation after a woman filed a police report about the incident on April 10, 2023, at approximately 6:30 pm.
Aidi disclosed that the case is being investigated under Section 509 of the Penal Code and Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955 for disrespecting others and using foul and abusive language in public. He also mentioned that the suspect tested negative in a urine test and has no prior criminal record.
Aidi cautioned the public against commenting on the video, as doing so could compromise public safety and order.
