Malaysia Records 1,737 New COVID-19 Cases, Remains Below The 2000-Mark And 17 Deaths As Of 30 November

Malaysia recorded 1,737 new COVID-19 cases yesterday, Wednesday (30 November).

The daily COVID-19 infections remained below the 2,000-mark, however, 17 deaths were reported due to COVID infections.

According to the data on the KKMNOW website, the new cases make up the cumulative number of 4,992,168 COVID-19 infections in the country, and 36, 684 deaths. 

As of midnight, there were 24,960 active cases of COVID-19 including 94 patients in the intensive care unit (ICU), with 57 of them requiring respiratory support. Of the total number of active cases, 1,848 people (7.4%) are being treated in the hospital.

The other 23,018 COVID-19 patients are currently undergoing self-quarantine at home. 

A total of 3,338 patients were reported to have recovered.
