COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Sabah, with 279 new infections detected on Wednesday (July 20th).
According to The Star, this was 45 more compared to the cases recorded on Tuesday (July 19th) and 224 cases on Monday (July 18th).

The Sabah COVID-19 spokesman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said 23 districts in the state recorded new cases, adding that only the four remaining districts did not detect any new infections.
Only two districts recorded a significant decrease in cases namely Kota Kinabalu and Tawau, although Kota Kinabalu still detected 87 new cases compared to 112 the day before.
