The 12 highways that will soon accept card payments are:

  • Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH)

  • Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), Sungai Besi Expressway (BESRAYA)

  • New Pantai Expressway (NPE)

  • Penang Bridge (JPP), Butterworth-Kulim Expressway (BKE)

  • Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP)

  • Western Kuala Lumpur Traffic Dispersal Scheme (SPRINT)

  • Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS)

  • SMART Tunnel, Kuala Lumpur-Putrajaya Expressway (MEX)

  • Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE).

The introduction of the open payment system is part of the government's initiative to transition to a Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) toll collection system in the future.

This system aims to remove boom barriers and enable a non-stop toll collection experience at toll plazas. The implementation of MLFF is expected to occur in stages, with a target completion date set for the third quarter of 2024.

This move towards electronic payments and the eventual implementation of MLFF will enhance the efficiency and convenience of toll transactions for road users.

It is a step forward in embracing technological advancements and providing a seamless travel experience on these highways.
