Football fans rejoiced when Manchester United were drawn to face AC Milan in the last-16 of the Europa League.
Not only is this a meeting of two of Europe’s biggest clubs, it also sets the stage for Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic to face his former side.
The Swedish striker spent two years at Old Trafford between 2016 and 2018, during which he scored 17 goals and won the Europa League title.
Alas, the reunion may not happen.

The Swedish striker picked up a thigh injury in Milan’s Serie A win over Roma yesterday (March 1st), and is set to be sidelined for up to three weeks.
This means he’ll miss the first-leg against United on March 11th.
Insiders at the San Siro, however, say there is a slim chance Ibra could recover in time for the second leg on the 18th.
Both sets of fans will be hoping Ibrahimovic makes it back on time.
The Milan faithful will be counting on his goals to help them progress, while United supporters are looking forward to seeing one of their former stars, who has built somewhat of a cult following at Old Trafford, despite his relatively short stint there.
