You can clarify your concerns or doubts about the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme (NIP) by forwarding your questions directly to its Coordinating Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin.
Questions can be submitted via Instagram Story of the COVID-19 Vaccine Supply Guarantee Special Committee, JKJAV.
To date, a total of 452,919 individuals have already received the COVID-19 vaccine.
Earlier, Khairy said Phase 1 of the NIP is expected to be completed earlier than scheduled as Malaysia will no longer adopt the previous “one dose, one dose reserve” policy to speed up the vaccination process.
The existing vaccine doses would instead be fully utilised, as the government is satisfied with the Pfizer-BioNTech manufacturer’s delivery schedule.
The Health Ministry will determine the date for Phase 2 of the immunisation programme, which would be announced next week.
