Chinese New Year is definitely a time of wealth and prosperity, since we’re getting in on a 20% discount on PLUS Highway toll plazas!
In ushering in the Lunar New Year, PLUS has announced that customers travelling on PLUS and LPT2 highways will get to enjoy a 20% toll discount on Saturday, 25th January.
PLUS’s Managing Director, Datuk Azman Ismail said, “On the 25th of January, our highway customers will enjoy a discount of 20 percent on all our tolls between 12:00am till 11:59pm. For example, if our customer enters the highway at 7pm on 24th January and exits the highway at 12:15am on 25th January, they automatically enjoy the festive discount.”
All private passenger vehicles travelling on PLUS Highway toll plazas on the North-South Expressway (NSE), the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), the Seremban-Port Dickson Expressway (SPDH), the North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE), the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link Highway (Linkedua), the Butterworth-Kulim Expressway (BKE), the Penang Bridge and the East-Coast Expressway 2 (LPT2), will be eligible for the 20% festive toll discount.
The discount however will not be offered for toll transactions made at the Tanjung Kupang toll plaza and also excludes those who are currently enjoying the existing Penang Bridge 20% toll discount via their Touch ‘n Go cards.
To avoid getting stuck in traffic this Chinese New Year, Astro Radio Traffic has also put together a list of the best travel times along the PLUS Highway from the 20th January - 2nd February 2020.
