This coming Thursday, Entrepreneur Development Minister Redzuan Yusof is gonna be pretty high. He will be testing our nation’s flying car and invited opposition MPs to come along and watch the test run.
According to Free Malaysia Today, Redzuan said, “I want to repeat my invitation to the respected MPs. This Thursday, I myself will be riding the flying vehicle or two-man vehicle. I invite Mohd Shahar Abdullah (BN-Paya Besar) if he wants to come. If he wants to take pictures while sitting on it as it flies, we can sit together”.

Headed by a private Malaysian company, the flying car project is said to be able to travel from Kuala Lumpur to Penang in an hour - much faster than the usual four hours by road!

Based on the report by Free Malaysia Today, Aerodyne Group, who developed the vehicle, stated back in March that the car (named Vector), is essentially a drone that will be powered by four motors running on a lithium-ion battery. Vector is built to carry up to 150-200kg and should be able to fly 50m above ground level at 60km/h for a period of 30-90 minutes.
We are pretty stoked to see how the test run goes!
