Residents in several areas in the Klang Valley have been suffering from unscheduled water cuts for the second time in a month!

But, good news, Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd said that water supply has been restored to 46 locations or 17% of the 274 areas in the Klang Valley that was affected by the unscheduled water disruption.

In a statement at 6 am on Wednesday (7 October), Air Selangor said that action has been taken to stabilise the distribution system so that the water supply can be restored to affected areas.
“A total of 228 areas in the affected districts namely Petaling, Hulu Langat, Kuala Langat and Sepang/Putrajaya, are still in the recovery stage,” wrote Air Selangor.
They added that Kuala Langat recorded the highest recovery rate at 55% followed by Petaling, 37%.
Meanwhile, the recovery rate for Hulu Langat and Sepang/Putrajaya is still at 0%.
