A video has been circulating social media recently of a motorcyclist attempting to break the windshield of a female driver’s car.
According to a post shared by Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS on Facebook, it can be seen in the video that the 25-year-old motorist and the 26-year-old driver had a run in with each other, during which the motorcyclist got down from his motorcycle and started knocking on the driver’s car.
Muar Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Zaharudin Rasip said that the motorist has since been arrested and sent to the Sultanah Fatimah Muar Specialist Hospital (HPSF) because it is believed that he is suffering from mental problems.
The motorist is still receiving treatment in hospital.
The police also urged the public not to share the video without knowing the full context of the story as it may cause unnecessary public outrage.
The 33-second video has since been shared over 522 times and gained over 4,000 reactions from netizens during the time of writing.
