Recently, a man in Penang attempted to escape from the police, but unfortunately, it didn’t go as he had planned.

According to Penang Kini on Facebook, police had to release four shots towards a car that escaped an early morning inspection at Jalan Batu Uban on Tuesday (June 15th).
It was reported police tried stopping the suspect in Kampung Melayu, Ayer Itam but failed, and began chasing the car that fled the scene.
The suspect, who was driving and trying to flee from the police, then lost control of his car and hit a disabled man who was crossing the road, killing him in the process.

Police then arrested the suspect and later discovered that he was carrying drugs, and further checks found that the suspect has various criminal records.
The disabled man, who died at the scene, has been taken to hospital.
