According to the Malay Mail, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that the National Security Council (MKN) is scheduled to table several amendments to curb the COVID-19 surge as all three locations still have red zones and active cases.

“Tomorrow, MKN will table suggestions on what needs to be done. In Selangor and Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, we did not close the economic sector. If we did, then the people will be affected,” he said during a press conference on Monday (2 November).

“At the same time, we want to protect the people health-wise, that is why MKN will table their plans perhaps by tightening the rules, but not close businesses,” he added.

Selangor recorded 129 new COVID-19 cases yesterday, with 22 cases from Kuala Lumpur and 21 cases from Putrajaya.

#Terkini: 834 kes baru #COVID19 dilaporkan hari ini. Kes baru tertinggi adalah Sabah (503), diikuti Selangor (129), Labuan (105), KL (22) PP (21).
