The Government Has Lifted The Four Per Table Limit For Restaurants

We can finally come through with that Father’s Day dinner we’ve been planning on as the government no longer restricts the dining table to seat just four people! (with social distancing, of course!)

In a statement from our Defence Minister, Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri, during his press conference yesterday (17 June), he said that Malaysians can now dine in with more than four people per table, although this is dependent on the table’s size and if there is enough social distancing in place.

According to Sin Chew Daily, the previous standard operating procedure which limited 4 people per table is no longer applicable.

After this, we can all enjoy a nice makan-makan together. Just be safe, ok?
