We’ve been witnessing a series of changes within the Malaysian government in the last 72 hours.
Following prime minister Tun Dr. Mahathir’s resignation, all ministers and deputy ministers’ positions had also withdrawn.

His Majesty The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah then agreed to appoint Tun Mahathir as interim Prime Minister, but unfortunately, the ministers and deputy ministers will still have to vacate their offices.
One of the most memorable farewells came from the now ex-Minister of Health, Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad, who reported on the Covid-19 situation through his Twitter account — and capped it off with a line that caught everyone (us included) right in the feels.
“My final tweet as YBMK. Thank you.”
Prior to his resignation, Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, Saifuddin Nasution shared some of his ministry’s plans — and that they had successfully set up Food Bank Malaysia and Food Bank Students.
He also expressed gratitude towards the agencies under his ministry who has helped him throughout his duties.
YB Khalid Samad, Minister of Federal Territories — expressed his gratitude to all of the employees under his ministry, in a poster.

YB Hannah Yeoh, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development in a Facebook post encouraged the civil servants under her ministry to continue carrying the amanah of the people as she stepped down from her position.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, Dr. Wan Azizah through her Instagram account shared a touching video, showing her career journey in her ministry.
