This includes lowering the number of workers allowed to work at their offices, as well as limiting the operation hours of business premises.
He says 80% of civil servants will be told to work from home, adding that further details will be announced by the Chief Secretary to the Government.
Meanwhile, 40% of private sector workers will work from home, with more details to be revealed by the International Trade and Industry Ministry.
Datuk Seri Ismail adds that public transport will only be allowed to operate at 50% capacity, adding that service frequencies will also be reduced.
Also, Datuk Seri Ismail says opening hours for businesses will be from 8am to 8pm daily.
The order will affect all eateries including restaurants, hawker stalls, and food trucks.
The limited operating hours will also affect convenience stores, night markets, shopping malls, launderettes, and petrol stations, except those located along highways.
Pharmacies will be allowed to remain open until 10pm daily.
The SOPs will be enforced throughout the peninsula including Labuan from May 25th.
This as Malaysia reported 6,320 new COVID-19 cases today.
The Health Ministry also recorded 50 fatalities, raising the death toll to 2,199.
Stay safe everyone!
