An AirAsia flight carrying Malaysians and non-citizen family members from Wuhan, the centre of the coronavirus (2019-nCov) outbreak, landed safely in KLIA at 5.57 AM this morning (Tuesday, February 4th).

According to The Star, there were 133 passengers on the flight (instead of expected 141), which departed from the Wuhan Tianhe International Airport.
Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said that all passengers will have to undergo a health screening at the air disaster unit (ADU) at KLIA as soon as they arrive.
“They are not passing the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), as they will be sent in a special bus straight to the Air Disaster Unit building for decontamination process and entry screening by Hazmat and Bomba together with Ministry of Health personnel,” Health Minister Datuk Seri Dzulkefly Ahmad told the Malay Mail.
Those who display symptoms of 2019-nCov will be brought straight to the hospital while those who are not infected will be brought to a surveillance center nearby and will not be allowed to go home and meet their families for at least 14 days.
Wuhan has been in lockdown by the Chinese authorities due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The mission was accompanied by eight officers from the Health Ministry, one from Nadma (National Disaster Management Agency) and one from the Foreign Ministry.
