According to Astro Awani, the 47-year-old and 60-year-old were spotted wearing pink wristbands by the public who then reported to the police. They were believed to be at the office to fill out the Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) application form.

The Kangar District Police Chief, Superintendent Wari Kiew said: “Both of them are farmers from Kampung Kuala Sanglang, and they managed to escape two roadblocks at Simpang Empat and Kuala Perlis by using rat routes.”

The two men were wearing the pink wristbands issued by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and was supposed to be at home as they were ordered by the authorities to undergo home quarantine.

Meanwhile in Kedah, a woman wearing the pink KKM tag was also caught by the authorities when she was spotted grocery shopping outside of the Targeted Enhanced Movement Control Order (TEMCO) in Kubang Pasu, Kedah.

According to Harian Metro, the woman was arrested by the authorities immediately and was given an RM1,000 fine after she was found guilty for leaving the area she was supposed to be confined to.

The woman was first spotted and stopped by the supermarket staff but she gave the excuse that she was not aware that she could not go from beyond the TEMCO area to buy food.

Those who are wearing the pink bracelet issued by the Ministry of Health (MOH) are NOT ALLOWED to go as far as one kilometre from the designated TEMCO areas, and severe action will be taken if you were caught stepping out of the radius.

So, please don’t be selfish, and think about other people, too. People could be infected with the virus because you decided to go jalan-jalan when you’re supposed to be isolating yourself.

 Be responsible and be safe!
